ADENIA (from the Greek aden - gland), a term currently little used, introduced by Langhans and Trousseau to denote systemic hyperplastic processes in the lymph nodes, observed primarily in leukemias, lymphogranulomatoses, lymphosarcomatoses, etc. (see Lymphadenosis).
