BRUGSCH INDEX (Brugsch), an indicator of physical development expressed by the formula C/L, where C is the circumference of the chest in cm, and L is the height in cm (see also Physical development indices).
The Brugsch Index is used to evaluate the proportionality of the chest relative to body height.
