DARINO, a village in Zvenigorod Uyezd, Moscow Governorate (28 km from Moscow). Ferruginous springs, weakly mineralized, but with a significant content of ferrous bicarbonate. Water composition according to the analysis by E. V. Rakovsky (1907): NaCl 0.00393, Na2SO4 0.02642, K2SO4 0.00067, KHCO3 0.00150, Ca(HCO3)2 0.23506, Mg(HCO3)2 0.06964, Fe(HCO3)2 0.03050, Mn(HCO3)2 0.00012, SiO2 0.01772, organic matter 0.00526, free and half-bound CO2 0.12480. Sum of solid constituents 0.40084. Spring yield is about 120,000 liters. Captage is primitive.
