Summary

Erythromelia (erythromelia Pick) is a skin disease characterized by symmetrically distributed striped, focal, or diffuse redness of the skin with atrophy on the extensor surfaces of the limbs, followed by the visibility of dilated veins. Unlike erythromelalgia, with which it shares many features, this skin redness is not accompanied by painful sensations. Pick's erythromelia is considered a variant of progressive idiopathic skin atrophy.
