FREUDIANISM, or Freudian teaching, or psychoanalysis, is a school in psychology and psychopathology that pays special attention to the so-called unconscious, and, as mechanisms for the organization of this unconscious, puts forward the role of sexuality in its various modulations (see Psychoanalysis).
