ARTIGON, Artigon, a polyvalent gonococcal vaccine proposed by Brooke, represents an emulsion of killed gonococci in a sterile 40% solution of urotropin: 1 cubic centimeter contains about 100 million gonococci. Artigon is used in the form of injections of 0.5-1 cubic centimeter with intervals of several days for treatment, as well as for diagnostic purposes. Artigon extrastark contains 1,000 million gonococci in 1 cubic centimeter.
