PERVUKHIN, Yevgeny Porfiryevich (born in 1873), one of the organizers of Soviet healthcare, an old Bolshevik. Since 1896, he participated in the revolutionary movement. Member of the party since 1903. For participation in student unrest, he was exiled to the Yakut region. In 1905, he was a member of the Moscow Committee of the RSDRP(b). Participant in the party congress in Stockholm in 1906. He worked in hospital funds in Petersburg. After the February Revolution, he was commissar of the Okhta district and a member of the district committee. After the October Revolution, he was commissar of healthcare for the Union of Communes of the Northern Region and head of the Provincial Health Department in Petrograd until 1923. He was a member of the first board of the newly created People's Commissariat of Health in 1918. In 1923, he headed the organizational department of the NKZdr. From 1924, he worked on party work in the Comintern. An active worker of the Society of Old Bolsheviks.
