DYNAMOSIS, a term proposed by Davidenkov (1923) to denote states of increased function of one or another nervous apparatus that has been separated from its central connections (synonyms: "deliberations"—C. Vogt, "isolated phenomena"—Munk). Dynamosis is, therefore, a state opposite to diaschisis (see).
