Mirgorod, a balneological mud resort in Ukraine, located three hours by train from the city of Poltava. The climate is mild, with cool summers and few cloudy days and minimal precipitation. The therapeutic agents of the resort are mineral springs of the weak NaCl type, containing a small amount of H2S; temperature 21.2°C and with a flow of 3,700 liters per day. The water is used for mineral baths and for internal consumption. In addition, mud baths from peat are applied. Indications are the same as for resorts with NaCl springs and mud baths. A polyclinic, hydrotherapy facility, electro-light therapy, X-ray, and laboratory departments have been established. Patients are accommodated in a sanatorium, a guesthouse, and in private apartments. The resort is under the administration of the Ukrainian Resort Administration. Season: from May 16 to September 30.
