Busno, a balneological and mud resort in the Kielce Voivodeship in Poland, located 1 km from the settlement of Buhak, at an altitude of 205 m above sea level. It is situated in a valley in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. The cap wells (Rotunda, Parasol, etc.) are located at the bottom, at the foot of the northern wing. The newer and more abundant mineral water wells are located higher up the slope. By origin, the sources are vadose, of the hydrogen sulfide-alkaline-earth type (NaCl-10 g, H2S up to 25 cubic cm in 1 liter). The resort is protected from the north, east, and west. The climate is moderate, even, closer to maritime; summers are not hot; the daily and annual amplitude is insignificant. Usually the temperature in May is 14.6°C, June 17.8°C, July 19.1°C, August 18°C, September 14°C. Winter is not cold. Therapeutic means: sulfur springs for baths and for drinking (Parasol), mud from pond sludge, impregnated with water from sulfur sources throughout the winter, for mud baths. Indications: syphilis, rheumatism, gout, scrofula, rickets, nervous and women's diseases, some skin diseases. Season May-September.
