ZONDEK, Hermann (born 1887), German scientist and well-known clinical endocrinologist. Author of a monograph on diseases of internal secretion translated into Russian (Die Krankheiten der endokrinen Drüsen, Berlin, 1923; Russian translation, Moscow-Leningrad, 1929). This work is one of the best manuals on clinical endocrinology. At the present time, he has been expelled from Germany by the fascists and is working in Jerusalem (Palestine).
