Vladimir Vasilyevich Savich (born 1868) was a Russian physiologist and one of the closest associates of Academician I. P. Pavlov at the Institute of Experimental Medicine. He conducted extensive research in endocrinology and pharmacology, and also attempted to provide physiological interpretations of various biosocial and social phenomena such as education, war, and revolution.

SAVICH, Vladimir Vasilyevich (born 1868), Russian physiologist. For a number of years he was one of the closest associates of Academician I. P. Pavlov at the Institute of Experimental Medicine. He has done and continues to do much work in the field of endocrinology. At the present time, he heads the Department of Pharmacology at the Institute of Experimental Medicine in Leningrad. In addition to purely specialized works, Savich has repeatedly spoken in the press, attempting to give a physiological interpretation to various phenomena of a biosocial and social character (education, war, revolution, etc.).
