Visual Method, one of the basic teaching techniques, consisting in the use of sense organs, primarily vision (to assist hearing, which is exercised in verbal teaching), and also to some extent touch and other sense organs. The consolidation of certain knowledge with the help of visual images and representations plays the most important role in the pedagogical process. If in relation to higher education the application of the V. m. does not require special explanations (especially in relation to clinical education, which is entirely of a demonstrative-visual nature), then in school and extracurricular (mass) work, in particular directly in sanitary education, the application of the V. m. represents the most important task. The principles of the V. m. are based on the laws of apperception. At the same time, if in a narrow formal sense the word "visuality" is understood in the sense of visual perception, then in essence "visuality"
