AGRIMONIA EUPATORIA L., agrimony, is a herbaceous plant from the rose family (Rosaceae). Active ingredients: tannins and essential oil. In the form of an aqueous infusion (5.0:200.0) or in powders (1.0–2.0), it is used as an astringent for the intestines. It is a folk remedy for liver diseases and gastric catarrh.
