LANDRY ASCENDING PARALYSIS (DISEASE)
He is editor of the 'Zeitschrift fur Kinderheilkunde', 'Zentralblatt fur Kinderheilkunde', 'Ergebnisse der inneren Medizin und Kinderheilkunde'. Landry addressed questions of micro-pediatrics in the context of measures for the protection of motherhood and infancy, and in this field he should be considered one of the greatest authorities in Germany. Landry also possesses considerable popularization abilities. He has written a whole series of popular books, mainly concerning questions of hygiene, care and feeding of children. Many of them have been translated into Russian and have gone through several editions not only in Germany but also in the USSR.
