BULLETIN (from the French bulletin — a report on the course of a disease, a report), in the medical sense: 1) a brief report on an event of public interest, for example, on the course of an illness of a prominent public figure; 2) bulletin was at one time the name for a medical leave certificate (see). In addition, bulletin is the name of a number of periodical publications abroad and in our country, for example, the Bulletins of the International Labour Office, Bulletins of the People's Commissariat of Health, and so on.
